The U.S. India Chamber of Commerce Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization that supports community initiatives in North Texas and India that align with the Foundation’s initiatives, including:

  • Entrepreneurship
  • Health and Human Wellness
  • Other community-based programs

Volunteering – Service Projects

Come out and volunteer at U.S. India Chamber of Commerce Foundation service projects throughout the year that are organized by the Chamber’s YEP group.

Past Service Projects:

  • Tutored at-risk elementary students in regional schools
  • Refurbished Women’s Professional Clothing Shelter with the Salvation Army
  • Hosted school supply drive for students at Whitney M. Young Jr. Elementary School
  • Provided job shadowing for low-income and first-generation college students
  • Supplied Indian groceries to students in need at University of Texas Dallas

Fundraising Events

Raising funds for various community causes, such as Assist the Officer Foundation for fallen officers following the Dallas Shootings in 2016. In addition, the Chamber, through our USICOC Foundation, shipped COVID-19 relief equipment to India in Spring 2021 when the country was experiencing an uptick in deadly COVID-19 cases. In total, approximately $2 million worth of COVID-19 relief equipment was shipped to 13 states in India.

Promote Entrepreneurship

Since 2013, the Foundation has been hosting a Spirit of Innovation Competition to promote entrepreneurship and networking among DFW-based college and university students.

Gifting Options

Support the Foundation’s work by making cash or stock donations.

  • Gifts of Cash: Cash gifts may be made immediately or pledged for payment up to one year. For the accuracy of your records and those of the Foundation, pledges should be made in writing. Gifts can be given in cash or by check.
  • Gifts of Stock or Other Securities: Publicly traded securities that have appreciated in value or closely held (private) stock that has appreciated in market value may be gifted. Corporate, tax-exempt, and zero-coupon bonds are also considered valuable marketable securities and can be donated.
